Course B :
Tour focused on ecological and cultural sight-seeing in Hampyeong County, north of Mokpo, where the Congress is to be held.
Places to visit : An estuary of slime, the size and ecological value of which are known to be global ¢” an one million square-meter ecological park exhibiting extensive varieties of butterflies, insects, orchids. etc. ¢” a cave inhabited by yellowish bats ¢” a traditional rural market held every five days
 
Course C :
Focused on Korean arts and culture in Jindo County, south of Mokpo.
Places to visit : A sea passage where the water flows at 11 knots per hour and the cable-stayed 484-meter-long bridge just over the passage ¢” an atelier called ”°Ullimsanbang" of purely Korean style nestling amidst a misty forest ¢” a memorial hall exhibiting arts by maestro Sochi who lived at ”°Ullimsanbang" in the 19th century ¢” a mysterious sea road which shores up only at certain tide ebbs of the year ¢” the government-financed Korean Traditional Music Center ¢” abalone raising grounds
 
Course D :
Sight-seeing in Haenam County, south-east of Mokpo and located at the southern end of the Korean peninsular
Places to visit : A fossil ground exposing remnants of dinosaurs including their petrified eggs ¢” a seasonal migratory birds' habitat ¢” a buddhistic temple called DaeHeung-Sa ¢” a Korean style residence called Nokwoo-dang where a famous exiled Confucian scholar of the last Korean dynasty worked out many a vernacular poem of historic value.
 
Course E :
Sight-seeing in Gangjin County, south east of Mokpo, next to Haenam County.
Places to visit : A buddhistic temple called Mu-wee-Sa (Mu-wee means 'doing nothing') ¢” a military sanctuary where marine legions stayed in the last dynasty ¢” a straw-thatched cottage showing the life of a pragmatistic Confucian scholar Dah-san resided ¢” celadon kilns in Koh-Ryeo dynasty's tradition.
 
In Sooncheon, Yeosu, and Gwangyang cities located east of Mokpo, two hour away by bus from Mokpo
Itinerary : Start by bus at Mokpo ¢” Gwangyang Steel Mill Complex, the biggest throughout the world ¢” Jinnam-gwan, the headquarters of the Korean navy for over 400 years during the last Lee Dynasty and a strategic point in the defence against Japanese ¢” Odong-do, an island connected to the shore by a 786m long breakwater and known far and wide for its densely growing camellias and 193 rare species of trees ¢” the reed-covered slimy Sooncheon-man (estuary) valued as an ecological sanctuary for the environmental safeguards ¢” Naganeup-seong, Folklore Village surrounded by ramparts originating from ancient years, with villagers still living inside ¢” Dolmen Exhibition Park where prehistoric relics including dolmens and stone works are displayed ¢” Songgwang-sa, the Korea's biggest buddhistic temple ¢” Yeosu airport ¢” Kimpo airport, Seoul
